Source: Voguer's catalog for the state of Rio de Janeiro, checked on 09/07/2026, considering only listings identified as Búzios. The ads weren't standardized by route, services or duration. This table isn't a destination average, and it doesn't confirm availability.
The route needs to match the price
Búzios brings together beaches in very different spots around the peninsula. A quote should spell out the planned stops, the departure point and how much time is set aside for sailing. João Fernandes and Tartaruga, for example, both appear in Embratur's guide to Búzios, but naming well-known beaches doesn't define a package.
Ask the operator to describe the proposed route for your date. More beach names in the ad don't mean more swimming time, and they don't guarantee every one will actually be visited.
How much would it be per person?
If ten paying guests split a base price of R$3,000, each share would be R$300. If eight paying guests split R$3,500, it would be R$437.50 each. These examples illustrate how to divide the advertised price; they don't confirm services or booking conditions.
Do the math with your actual group. The listed capacity shouldn't become a target occupancy just to lower the cost. Confirm the permitted capacity, the space, and comfortable seating for everyone, including children.
Included fuel can depend on the route
Ask whether the price covers fuel for the route shown, or whether it's billed separately. If your group wants to add a beach, agree on how the change will be assessed before accepting a new price.
Compare start and end times too. "Per day" in the catalog doesn't automatically mean 24 hours, and it doesn't say how long the boat will stop at each spot.
Food, departure point and services change the budget
Note the departure address and add transport and parking when needed. Confirm whether you can bring your own drinks and food, what utensils are on board, and whether any prep service has been arranged.
A grill and a cooler describe equipment. They don't show that food, ice or service staff are included. The quote should separate what the boat provides from what your group needs to bring.
How to properly compare two quotes
Send both operators the same details: date, number of adults and children, desired duration, beach priorities and your budget limit. Ask for the total, the inclusions, and the terms for changes due to weather or sea conditions.
If there's a price difference, identify the product difference behind it. A bigger boat, a longer period or an extra service can explain the gap. The best choice suits your group and comes with a total you understand before you pay.
