Price · Florianópolis
A speedboat rental ad in Florianópolis doesn't say on its own which route is being sold. First, identify which trip is being sold
A private rental, a per-person excursion and transport to an island are billed in different ways. Don't compare the ticket for a crossing with the cost of an entire speedboat without noting the difference in product.
Ask whether the quote covers sailing within the bays, another stretch of coastline, or access to an attraction. Costa da Lagoa shouldn't be treated as an automatic extension of a boat trip either.
Departure point and fuel change the comparison
Ask for the boarding address and a description of the route. A boat departing from a different area may involve different logistics to meet the same interest from your group. Check how fuel is included or charged.
If the quote has a route limit, note it down. If your group requests a change, ask beforehand how distance, duration and costs will be adjusted.
Do the per-person math with the right total
As a demonstration, R$3,500 split among ten paying guests works out to R$350 per person, before extras. With eight paying guests, the same base price comes to R$437.50 each. This example uses one ad and isn't a quote for your date.
Only add expenses that aren't already included: food, applicable fees and any services you choose. If there's a security deposit, keep it on a separate line from the final cost.
Ilha do Campeche requires checking access
The Campeche municipal portal lists its own booking and visiting procedures. Don't assume the boat rental includes authorization or admission just because the island appears in your desired itinerary.
Ask for a breakdown of transport, access and time on the island, based on the specific product. A private speedboat quote may cover a different experience than the crossing sold specifically to visit the island.
Compare comfort and the contracted time
A bathroom, shade, seating and water access all affect how the boat is used. A price difference may reflect a feature your group values, but the choice should be based on the actual trip on offer.
Confirm the departure and return times. The term "day rate" doesn't guarantee 24 hours of use or an overnight stay. For events and special dates, ask for a specific price.
How to send a complete request
Share your accommodation, date, group size and priority. Ask for the total price for a defined route, plus an alternative if there's flexibility. This lets you adjust the budget without losing sight of the experience your group wants.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price per person or per boat?
In these examples, the ad is for a full day of the boat. The per-person split depends on the group and the confirmed expenses.
Does the trip include admission to Campeche?
Don't assume this is included. Check transport, access authorization and time on the island separately.
Do regular prices apply for Carnival and New Year's Eve?
Special dates and operations need their own quote. These examples were checked without a specific booking date selected.
